Day 1:Nairobi-– Lake Nakuru

Leave Nairobi in the morning and descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Visit the world famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru National Park arrive in time for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in search of white rhino, giraffes and other game hosted in the park. Dinner overnight at flamingo hill tented camp or equivalent.

 

Day 2: lake Nakuru- Kisumu

Leave Lake Nakuru after breakfast and head for kisumu which is the third largest city in Kenya.

It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world.

You will arrive late in the afternoon. All meals and overnight at sunset hotel.

 

Day 3:Kisumu - Ndere Island National Park
After breakfast proceed to the , then take a boat to Ndere Island National park. The park covers of 4.2 km2, an island just off the northern shore of Lake Victoria and was opened in November 1986. Ndere means "meeting place" in the language of the local Luo tribe. According to the Luo folklore, Kit Mikayi, mother of the tribe, rested up near Ndere after her long journey south down the Nile valley. She found the lush shorelines so pleasing that she and her people stayed. The

Day is spent in search of the crocodiles,hippos, monitor lizards,birds and water antelopes.

Overnight stay will be at sunset hotel or equivalent.

 

Day 4: Kisumu- Masai Mara

Leave after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara with lunch enroute. You will arrive late in the afternoon. Spend the afternoon exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-maned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals. Overnight at Mara simba lodge or equivalent.

 

Day 5: Masai Mara

Full day exploring the magnificent Masai Mara National reserve. Optionally, leave the lodge with picnic meals and spend more time out with wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Mara simba lodge.

 

Day 6: Masai Mara- Nairobi

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Leave after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi

arriving in the afternoon.
