Safari lodges and Hotels in Kenya
The variety of accommodations in Kenya are staggering
and you can always find somewhere to stay, even in the smallest towns.
The hotels in the cities and towns vary from luxury
to bottom level. In the parks and game reserves you have the options of
luxury accommodations, medium class and budget campsites.
Budget campsites can be either organized package
group or self drive camping. If traveling with an organized group you
get camping equipment, safari guide and a safari cook.
It is more like being in the lodges only that the
accommodations are in 4-man dome tents, each shared by two. The services
offered are more than expected: great value for your money. Prior
arrangements not always a must but recommended. They are operated by
safari companies that have their own safari fleet and will put the
package together for you.
Usually in the parks and reserves the options for
cheap accommodations are very limited. If you plan an African safari, reservations in advance
is highly
recommended especially in the high season (July-February) to avoid last
minute rush.
